02/05/2008 Version 3.1 Released
The development team has just released version 3.1 of getbusi ’s Web Access Management software. The biggest addition to getbusi with this update is the ability to proactively deny access to anonymous proxy websites, which have become a major problem for organisations implementing Web Access Management solutions such as getbusi. Anonymous proxy websites effectively bypass an organisation’s filtering and access controls, allowing for unrestricted and untraceable Internet access. Because these websites are easy to setup by anyone with rudimentary computer skills, traditional filtering methods cannot keep up with their rapidly increasing numbers. The latest feature release of getbusi incorporates capabilities to proactively block these websites and maintain control of your organization’s IT infrastructure. Getbusi ’s technical team has prepared a White Paper on how Anonymous Proxy websites work and how you can protect your organisation from them. Download the whitepaper here
